Mother's Day Fun!

Mother's Day was a fun and relaxing day! Of course, even though it is MY day, it is always dictated by the kids :-) Morgan REALLY wanted to go to the new park at Peter Pan Park! This was an awesome project, which took a lot of time and effort on behalf of the entire community. A leadership committee in our town raised funds to build this new, awesome playground. Once they raised the money it took around 100 volunteers (maybe more) to build the equipment. It was completed within a week! You can view the photos below! So for my Mother's Day I got to eat KFC for lunch, go to the park, grilled steak and potatoes for supper and then Dairy Queen for dessert!! YUMMY! What a day!

Amazing, huh? This place has been packed with kids and adults every single day since it was built. There is a little something for everyone! It was a perfect day.
