Sidewalk Chalk

The weekend before Morgan started school, her friend and our next door neighbor, Joshua was preparing to move with his family to Oklahoma. He spent most of the weekend at our house because they didn't know when they would get the chance to play together again. I took some shots of them playing outside with sidewalk chalk. We made it much more fun by adding water to it and getting wet!

Ava had much more fun playing in the water, especially running the hose.

She is really trying to figure out how to do somersaults!

It was sad to see Joshua go. Morgan spent a lot of time with him either at our house, his house or just talking to him over the fence. I am sure he will be back to visit, as they still have family in town. Now we are anticipating what kind of new neighbors we will have........renters? Possibly. The last time we had renters it was not pleasant, so let's hope for a nice family with nice kids about Morgan's age :-)
